There is nothing like the love of God…
It’s worth waiting on God. Have you ever done something sporadically and regretted doing it the minute you completed it? This is why it is so important to wait on God. He knows what is best for us and He will never make a mistake in our lives. In the bible, it tells us that patience is a virtue. We should always practice patience especially when we’ve prayed to God about something and we are waiting for an answer. One of the worse thing to do, is to jump ahead of God when it seems that nothing is happening. We generally make mistakes that could’ve been avoided, if we just would’ve taken the time to trust God and His timing for our lives. So when you feel the urge to move on something, consult God first. You will be happy you did and you’ll be much happier with the result.
Here are 3 scriptures that will help during your waiting period.
1) Proverbs 3:5-6 Trust in the LORD with all your heart, and do not lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make straight your paths.
2) Isaiah 40:31 but they who wait for the LORD shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings like eagles, they shall run and not be weary, they shall walk and not faint.
3) Lamentations 3:25 The LORD is good to those who wait for him, to the soul who seeks him.
Remember: There is nothing like the love of God and His favor. Continue to trust Him in all things and learn to wait on His green light before your enter an intersection of ongoing traffic.
